Brand Marketing and Sales Management

Responsible for new product and brand development for Chef Saluto, Jeno’s Dry Mix and new product development. Company sold to Pillsbury.  Originally hired as VP Marketing/Operations responsible for a new national acquisition, D.L. Jardines, a Mexican food products company. However, acquisition not consummated.

  • Increased sales of Chef Saluto by 28% and profit improvement of 14% in less than one year.
  • Increased profitability through a combination of increased sales, resource reallocation by revenue generating field operations, cost reductions and spending controls.

Responsible for international marketing of Danskin worldwide (except North America).  Previously Product Manager for Round-The-Clock and Givenchy.  Wrote and implemented first comprehensive marketing plan after acquisition. Assistant Product Manager for 18 Hour and Cross Your Heart brands.

  • Doubled international Danskin market sales through the development of fashion aerobic and swimwear and increasing distribution.
  • Developed and introduced first running bra into marketplace called “Playtops.”

Associate Product Manager for Nestle’s Quik. Previously served as New England District Sales Manager, managing brokerage sales force and as Assistant Product Manager on Price’s Dips and Spreads and other specialty food products.

  • Launched Quik line extensions.  Increased national volume of sales by 8% in one year.
  • New England became #1 Sales territory in U.S. based on sales volume.
